Fly Fishing Hotel Wales

Our well-stocked trout lake is a short walk from the hotel and is in the centre of 50 acres of woodlands and lawns. The River Irfon; a tributary to the River Wye, runs through the hotel grounds adjacent to the lake.  This stretch provides 7 miles of opportunities for the more experienced angler to test their skills on trout, grayling and, on the lower stretches; salmon.

If your partner doesn't share your enthusiasm for fishing our Fishing & Spa Breaks will keep everyone amused and happy, as they are spending their time being pampered in the Kingfisher Spa.

Mid Wales fishing breaks

The fishing which the hotel grounds has to offer is just the beginning and the surrounding rivers. For further locations and a great variety of water, the Wye and Usk have some of the best fishing in the UK, with several locations easily within reach of the hotel. Since the introduction of the passport scheme in 2003, great strides have been made for both anglers and wild fish, with the reintroduction of Grayling, trout and salmon on to the upper stretches of the Wye.
