The Area

The Lake Country House Hotel and Spa is the perfect place to relax and unwind, be it after a hard day’s work or just a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of your daily routine, where our friendly staff will be there to help you with anything to make the perfect stay.

Inside our hotel you will find our log fires roaring, here in one of our lounges you will find a number of board games and card games to play, such as chess and trivial pursuit. Our Billiard Room offers a full size snooker table where hours can be spent, whilst afternoon tea and scones, welsh cakes and other mouth-watering delights can be served.

There’s plenty to do on our grounds, Riverside walks along rhododendron lined pathways around our lake and the River Irfon, or even a game of croquet on the lawn. And if you are feeling really energetic we have our tennis courts.

A gentle warm-up on our putting green can ready you for a game of golf as a beginner or as a keen golfer on our par 3 9-hole golf-course.
On our lake we offer you to catch a trout or on the River Irfon, which winds through our acres of grounds, to try your hand at fly fishing.
