The lake country house offers some great luxury New Year breaks in the heart of mid Wales. Escape for a few days of relaxation and rejuvenation accompanied by great food and wine. The relaxed festive atmosphere is ideal for groups and couples alike who can join in the New Years Celebrations at this country house.

The Celebrations begin - 30th December 2013

Arrive in the afternoon for a welcoming afternoon tea served in our lounge alongside crackling log fires. You might want to take your time to enjoy the countryside Wales has to offer by taking a walk in our grounds. Dinner is a relaxed, unhurried affair that takes place in our award winning restaurant from 7pm. Make the most of the facilities the hotel has to offer and have a game of snooker after dinner in the billiards room.

New Years Eve Party 2013 to 2014

Spend the day being pampered in the Kingfisher spa, fishing on the lake or playing a round of golf. The evening celebrations begin from 7pm with a champagne reception in the inner hall followed by a 6-course gourmet feast prepared by Russell and his team. After dinner there is live entertainment and as much (or little) dancing as you would like. The traditional ‘Auld Lang Syne’ followed by fire works on the lawn will mark New Year. Dancing and celebrations will then continue into the early hours.

Happy New Year 2014

Breakfast is served a little later from 8.30 to 10.30pm, there is also the chance to join us for our new years day lunch served from 12.30 (please book in advance). After the party the night before, get the New Year off to a good start and take a walk around the Elan or Abergwesyn valley just a short drive away. For the less energetic, why not curl up next to the log fire with a book or take a detox in the sauna at the hotel spa. A relaxed dinner on New Years day is served in our restaurant from 7pm.

New Year Terms of Booking

We respectfully request that all New Year reservations are confirmed with a non-refundable deposit of £300.00 at the time of booking. Full pre-payment is required by the 1^st December and this will only be refundable if the room is re-let at the same value. The credit card provided at the time of booking will be used for full pre-payment. We advice all guests to take out holiday / travel insurance.

Our chefs are happy to cater for any dietary requirements or allergies. Please let us know at the time of booking.

At New Year the dress is optional Black Tie or lounge suit.
