Experienced Waiter/Waitress/General Assistant

The Lake Country House & Spa requires a enthusiastic motivated individual to join its front of house team. The Lake Country House is a 4 Star property in mid Wales and has recently won AA hotel of the year, Wales.

For this varied position you will be expected to contribute to the following on a shift basis; -

• Work within the restaurant during Breakfast/lunch/dinner service
• Assist reception staff during check in/out
• Stock and work in the bar

For this role it is essential that you are punctual, well presented, enthusiastic and eager to learn. All training will be provided but it is essential that you have some experience in the hospitality industry. Ideally you should be hard working, professional and confident person who is keen to progress in the industry. There will be opportunities to progress within the hotel and its sister hotel in Devon. Knowledge of food and wine would be desirable but a keen interest to learn is more important.

Benefits includes a competitive salary between 12 and 13k and cheap accommodation which can be provided. There is also the opportunity for the right individual to progress quickly and gain more responsibility. Ideally you will have a car due to the rural location of the hotel although this is not essential.
